Here are some pictures of me and my friends/family during our stay in Philippines..
This was during our second wedding in Iligan City, Philippines, my hometown. The ceremony was at the St. Michael’s Cathedral then to Elena Tower Inn for the reception. Brian was overwhelmed by the number of people that attended. Americans are not used to seeing that many guests, unless they’re celebrities or blacks perhaps. I’m guessing there were more than 250 people (gamay ra ba?). We lost track of the exact number of guests because of those that were unaccounted for that were present (gatecrashers hehe). But no worries about it, that is always expected to happen in any occasion, ryt? They were still welcomed. The most exciting part was the disco part. We hired a local band that cheated on us… i’m not gonna elaborate, but we’re not gonna do business with them anymore in the future.. their loss, ryt? Overall, it was a very fun day and night. Who would expect Prof. M. Salazar, the chancellor of IIT, and other professors who we thought were reserved and "formal", to be disco-ing with us? Or Brian to be playing the drums while I was singing? haha baga jud akong nawong ato no? But who would care? it was our night anyway.. palag sila or kickout sila sa room hehe ;) Everyone seemed to be having a great time. Moreover, the food, decorations, music, program, and everything else, though not perfectly what i had envisioned, turned out all great. Our wedding planner, coordinator, and host all did a very great job. It was truly an unforgettable experience, for Brian and me anyway.
Thanks to all who came to our wedding and for those who weren’t able to or whom i forgot to invite, all i can say is i’m sorry. i truly wished u were there. Don’t worry, my parents and two sisters themselves were also not able to come so you’re no loser hehehe..kidding..i was the loser for not having you on my special day ;)
This was during our first wedding in Salem, Virginia, USA at Brian’s hometown. It was held at a park with gazebo, fountains and ponds, trees and flowers– designed for weddings or for couples to date at. The reception was on top of a hill overlooking some nice parts of Salem. It wasn’t as fancy as our wedding in Iligan but it was a beautiful experience. Come feel the thrill of a first wedding……
